The clock was inspired by a tourmaline hummingbird that should indicate the hours. As sophistication there is a mysterious tourbillon built above the clock. The time is given by a minute hand and a disk for the jumping hour.
The flowers are made of engraved rock crystal, the leaves of gemstone.
All parts of the case and the movement are gilded; the base, the branches and the ivy leaves are made of silver 925. The ivy leaves are enameled according to the plique-à-jour technique.
